In many global learning institutions, large learning management systems (LMS) are assigned a project manager and team, while smaller applications – assessment development systems, wikis and most apps, among them – are often handed off to instructional designers and educational technologists (IDs/ETs). By adopting a systematic procedure for reviewing teaching and learning tools, IDs/ETs can support faculty more quickly and effectively.
