In the age of Covid, the pressure is on for global educators to find new ways to engage students and enhance collaboration through the use of digital technologies. To address this time-critical need, Profs. Mike Cooray and Rikke Duus have developed the DigitalHack methodology, a high-intensity, collaborative approach inspired by the concept of a hackathon. Effective in both in-person and virtual settings, DigitalHacks promote interdisciplinary thinking, digital fluency and problem-solving skills of students, who also have fun in the process.
